have you checked your viral markers to see how much they decreased?

what's the benefit in doing another fast before the immune system catches up? aside from fat loss ofc..

Haven't done bloods yet - planning on doing so a short while after finishing my fasts.

The primary benefit is fat loss, sure, but I'm also interesting in finishing up healing my skin and seeing if I can squeeze out any remaining viral destruction. I'm fairly certain I gave my immune system enough time to catch up after the first time, since I was getting what appeared to be immune responses from increasing amounts of beta-glucans until they suddenly dropped off, even after persistent, hilarious amounts of them.

I'm also guiding two people here locally through the enhanced fast + diet protocol, one at a time, and will be doing it with them each time. Buddy system works wonders for motivation. ;)

But to be perfectly honest, yeah, mostly I'm impatient to get shredded for the beach, kick any remaining virus bits in their stupid faces, and get back to life and the gains - and this seems like the quickest way to do all of that at once. ;D

Broke my fast this morning - overdid it with the LISS last night again, since I was planning on breaking it today anyway and I'm constantly trying to figure out exactly how far I can push things. I ended up with my calves burning all night and waking up several times in the night dreaming of food, so half of my prior LISS intensity that caused this effect last time clearly too much. Next time I'll try 1/4th.

4oz salmon, half a bell pepper, package of cauliflower rice made into little sushi nori wraps was a great way to start the day. ;D

Going to make some eggs, spinach and potatoes before the gym, do a moderate full body workout, then maybe go out for real sushi - then right back into the enhanced fast tomorrow!

Went great yesterday - met or set new PRs on everything at the gym, had a nice dinner of sushi, frozen yogurt for dessert, and casein in the middle of the night - now right back into fasting.

Scale weight up 8.4lbs overnight, as expected. ;)

Day 3 of the enhanced fast, with a local partner in tow this time around. I'll try to convince them to post a blog when they're up to it - they appear to currently be going through the "ugh, I just want to curl up in a little ball" phase. ;)

Meanwhile I'm casually adding noots and working all day, taking just enough breaks to get my 20k steps in while enjoying the weather, and just generally feeling great. 8)

End of day 5. We're both calling it quits early for different reasons. In my case, I managed to overdo it by walking this time. Turns out just 20k steps of LISS spread out through the day eventually catches up, and my body is sternly demanding "please give me protein to repair all the damage you've done to me".

My cohort has been stuck in the "hit by a truck" phase yesterday and today, but has work early in the morning and needs to have more energy than the current maximum of "wow, sitting up in a chair to play a PC game sure is difficult". We're taking that as indicative of good stuff happening under the hood, so the plan is to spend a few days on a lite version of the supplementation and diet protocol, with no reishi, and them hop back into the enhanced fast in a few days to finish cleaning up whatever's in there.

Now for some delicious succinate acid, and even more delicious salmon + asparagus. ;D

Buddy system is amazing for anything one is trying to achieve - if we had more of that around, more ppl would be reaching goals I think!
