The pressure and discomfort around and behind the eyes is always such a peculiar symptom and one I experience often. Pretty much 100% of the time when in a crash, but since becoming more severe it happens quite frequently even when I'm not in a crash - any little thing or nothing can trigger it.
same here, fluctuates a lot

have you looked for hemangiomas??

still going here, finishing 4th week..

decreased egcg from 75mg to 50mg  today

added antiretrovirals 10 days ago

been eating more carbs this last couple weeks and some signs of IBS are coming back but not as bad

day 13(making some changes as per discussion on discord server)

decreased egcg to 75mg*4
decreased LEF reishi to 1cp*3
added ND reishi(~90mg b-glucans *3)
total reishi b-glucans per day = 320mg from dual extract + ~100mg from alcohol/spore extract

for now the only immune response i got was on day 7-8 after a probe with HIV/PreP combo
i'll test for anti-GAD and FSH tomorrow which is a hint to coxsackie...

been averaging 60-90g of oat bran per day, + some wheat germ + sprinkles of lions mane and oat fiber
so today i'll take a day off those

candesartan also helped my IBS-D but as soon as discontinued it came back full strength

telmisartan on the other hand appeared to help slowly but gains sticked more, ymmv.

Day 8

Not nearly so much fun today :) Physical energy was okay, but I was pretty wiped out mentally, so I didn't do a whole lot. Still carrying on 👍
same here, let the fun part begin xD

Questions and Answers / ammonia dump phase
« on: June 30, 2021, 08:53:09 AM »
is the ammonia dump supposed to be delayed after fasting, like the immune response??

have you checked your viral markers to see how much they decreased?

what's the benefit in doing another fast before the immune system catches up? aside from fat loss ofc..

day9: a little pain in some places and more fluish today, about to finish my first reishi bottle

as i failed to eat green bananas i added it's "flour" to the oatbran/wheat germ/berries yogurt

wonder if i could use dehydrated spinach powder too or would it lose much in nutrients??

day 8:

no fever again, added an equal weight of wheat germ to my oat bran meals inspired by @Ian

one thing that's bothering me just a little is after a couple years eating carnivore my stomach is shrunk, on this diet feels like a pregnant hopeless woman most of the day

followup: no morning fever today, threw in 1.5g of eleuthero root to probe again

brief recap: at beginning of the month, i had just finished a short course of metronidazole then tried reishi/oats first time as a test, since then my IBS-D has vanished not sure it was metronidazole or not but my bowel has never been better than it is now on the protocol, it's curious bc metronidazole treats giardia which is an exclusive criteria for the protocol, i didn't know that it was pure luck

i'd also temporarily "cured" my IBS-D before with metformin, some sartans, etc but it came back after a month

i feel great as of today...walked a lot around the town and not tired

day 7

(that's when the immune response is expected to start after fasting)

been dreaming more after introducing spironolactone, sth i didn't experience in a while

for a couple days right after waking up i have a bit of fever but then it fades

I'll consider growing my own reishi after retirement :D

thanks for doing this
I think Mike already is. There are grow-kits available in various places. :D
what a strange coincidence, i swear i thought to myself earlier -Mike must be already doing that. 🧐

bet he'll grow them on oats...

1. depends on your purpose, max waste scavenging = higher doses make sense, now it seems to blunt oxytocin response in amygdala at these higher doses people use so do your research and decide if the cost benefit is worth it

3. i use piping rock it's cheap but works!
